Leonardo Ibar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olimpiu Ciuvică, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Dacian Antohi in the 7thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Paul Berca, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ionică Dabija kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mircea Jecu during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Denis Bratiloveanu didn't quite understand what happened when in the 16 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Olimpiu Ciuvică received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Leonardo Ibar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. ACS Unirea Curtești's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ciprian Talianu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 37 minutes, Olimpiu Ciuvică mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tineretului FC and the ACS Unirea Curtești players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Tineretului FC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Olimpiu Ciuvică hit a great ball. 39 minutes into the match, Tineretului FC's goalkeeper Paul Berca had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dacian Antohi. Sabin Lăzărescu lost his temper 41 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Dacian Antohi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 46thth minute tested the skills of Paul Berca when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Edgar Trif's late challenge caught a Tineretului FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edgar Trif helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, ACS Unirea Curtești's Edgar Trif got a free kick in the 48th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ciprian Talianu was the one to do the kick off. Tiberiu Papadima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Paul Berca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dacian Antohi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paul Berca having to interfere. In the 63rd minute Eduard Hapaina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paul Berca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 64th minute, Marian Cucerdean hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marian Cucerdean sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cornel Bârza in the 74th minute of play forced Tineretului FC's goalkeeper Paul Berca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nichifor Tomoioagă took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 82nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Paul Berca. Tineretului FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, Dacian Antohi notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Tineretului FC's Paul Berca. Paul Berca was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tiberiu Papadima hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. ACS Unirea Curtești were victorious despite being under pressure from Tineretului FC for much of the match.
