In the 21st minute Tudor Bâru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucrețiu Şerb saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ionel Alupoaie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Petre Gorjanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 31 in the game by Iustin Brădescu from a close distance when the talented Lucrețiu Şerb managed to make a qualified save. Stenea's players were relieved. 38 minutes into the match, Ionel Alupoaie notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Resita Sport Club's Ionică Scutaru. Nistor Albulescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ionică Scutaru having to interfere. Petre Gorjanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ionel Alupoaie in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ionică Scutaru prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cristi Cobâlcescu kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Resita Sport Club fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 96th minute. Penalty!
