Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gelu Zubaşcu took the kick off in the first half of the match. Isac Chițes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Gică Constantinescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eric Tincu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gelu Zubaşcu, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Sasveres's zone, Mircea Buricea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eric Tincu came out of the goal and Mircea Buricea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 18th minute, Isac Chițes made a precise shot to the right of Gică Constantinescu. Alexandri's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After a rather tough play, Sasveres's Horaţiu Ghițescu got a free kick in the 23rd minute. In the 26th minute Gelu Zubaşcu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eric Tincu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mircea Buricea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 31st minute, Gelu Zubaşcu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ernest Frățilă during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Alexandri's Gelu Zubaşcu got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Adam Pitiș fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gică Constantinescu having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isac Chițes in the 38th minute of play forced Alexandri's goalkeeper Gică Constantinescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Isac Chițes made a kick off. Isac Albu hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Adam Pitiș in the 59thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gică Constantinescu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Mircea Buricea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Eric Tincu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adam Pitiș fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gică Constantinescu having to interfere. If Mircea Buricea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alexandri's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Ernest Frățilă 73 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-3. A collision led to Alexandri getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Aurelian Berechet hit a great ball. Gelu Zubaşcu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eric Tincu having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Petre Tudose during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Gelu Zubaşcu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alexandri's supporters rose to their feet, but Gelu Zubaşcu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eric Tincu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mircea Buricea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gelu Zubaşcu succeeded in the game's 93rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-3. If Adam Pitiș had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mircea Maghear kicked well hit freekick during the 99th minute of the match. In the 100th minute, Isac Chițes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Alexandri supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Sasveres's performance. The match ended with a win for Sasveres.
