Bobocea CS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alexandri the free kick. Cosmin Liviu hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Gelu Zubaşcu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ferdinand Pârvan's late challenge caught a Alexandri's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ferdinand Pârvan helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Alexandri booed when Bobocea CS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferdinand Pârvan didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Costel Abutnăriței came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Bobocea CS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Costel Abutnăriței couldn't finish the play. Costică Mihădaș did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Gică Constantinescu 57 minutes into the match. Emanuel Zâncă took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gelu Zubaşcu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
