Marcel Bilașco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Octav Nițu in the 5th minute of the match. U.T.A.-S.U.R.'s Lucian Voinescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mihnea Şerbănescu in the 7th minute of play. Marcel Bilașco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcel Turlea in the 15th minute of play. Gottlob's defense didn't have a chance, in the 17th minute, when Marcel Turlea scored to the left of an out of position Marcel Bilașco, making the score, 1-0. Mihail Aldulescu kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Marcel Bilașco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcel Turlea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 26 minutes into the match, Gottlob's goal looked a bit too open when Mihail Aldulescu came free, but Marcel Bilașco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Gottlob's goal looked a bit too open when Marcel Turlea came free, but Marcel Bilașco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Teodor Cozmâncă came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the U.T.A.-S.U.R. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teodor Cozmâncă couldn't finish the play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Teodor Cozmâncă made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in U.T.A.-S.U.R.'s zone, Narcis Mardare stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucian Voinescu came out of the goal and Narcis Mardare tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Teodor Cozmâncă's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcel Bilașco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. Narcis Mardare could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Lucian Voinescu made a huge save. Lucian Voinescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Narcis Mardare in the 73rd minute. Gottlob's Marcel Bilașco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodor Cozmâncă in the 77th minute of play. Gottlob's Mihnea Şerbănescu got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Octav Nițu kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. 90 minutes into the match, Gottlob's goal looked a bit too open when Marcel Turlea came free, but Marcel Bilașco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 92nd match minute, Gottlob was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aron Arnăuțoiu to maneuver through the defense. In the 95th minute Marcel Turlea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcel Bilașco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. U.T.A.-S.U.R. walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
