Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Gledeny's Octav Codrea started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Ernest Maghiran managed to get in a good position for a shot. FCU 1948 CRAIOVA's supporters rose to their feet, but Ernest Maghiran was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eric Dică breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Avram Colceriu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to FCU 1948 CRAIOVA getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Leontin Todoran hit a great ball. If Octav Codrea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th minute Octav Codrea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudiu Mirciulescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Gledeny booed when FCU 1948 CRAIOVA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leontin Todoran didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Mircea Cângea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Octav Codrea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudiu Mirciulescu having to interfere. Mircea Cângea's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 25thth minute, Claudiu Mirciulescu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 30thth minute of the game Narcis Ciompec who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gledeny's Eric Dică was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mircea Baldu hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. 35 minutes into the match, Gledeny's Octav Codrea sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Claudiu Mirciulescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Octav Codrea in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Claudiu Mirciulescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 42nd minute Octav Codrea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudiu Mirciulescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eric Dică came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by FCU 1948 CRAIOVA's Avram Colceriu. But to his dismay, Avram Colceriu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The referee gave Gledeny a penalty, 49 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Dacian Rizea, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of FCU 1948 CRAIOVA's Claudiu Mirciulescu. 1-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Narcis Ciompec stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Claudiu Mirciulescu didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Gledeny's Octav Codrea shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Claudiu Mirciulescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Octav Codrea, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. If Narcis Ciompec had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mircea Cângea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudiu Mirciulescu having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mircea Cângea in the 78th minute of play forced FCU 1948 CRAIOVA's goalkeeper Claudiu Mirciulescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FCU 1948 CRAIOVA's Claudiu Mirciulescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Octav Codrea in the 80th minute of play. Avram Colceriu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eric Dică having to interfere. If Narcis Ciompec had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Octav Codrea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudiu Mirciulescu having to interfere. If Mircea Cângea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in FCU 1948 CRAIOVA's zone, Octav Codrea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Claudiu Mirciulescu came out of the goal and Octav Codrea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee ended the match the Gledeny players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
