Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Basarab Panțâru made the kick off and thus started the match. Petruț Tătăruşanu's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Nistor Dobre firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 11th match minute, Bulaia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laurențiu Gâgea to maneuver through the defense. 13 minutes into the match, Bulaia's goal looked a bit too open when Constantin Homescu came free, but Emanuel Chiose reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Constantin Homescu in the 20th minute of play forced Bulaia's goalkeeper Emanuel Chiose to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emanuel Chiose took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Constantin Homescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Claudiu Chirea hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Budieni's Viorel Archiudean got a free kick in the 31st minute. The supporters of Bulaia booed when Budieni was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudiu Chirea didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 42 minutes, Petruț Tătăruşanu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bulaia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Petruț Tătăruşanu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Emanuel Chiose made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Constantin Homescu in the 44th minute of play. If Constantin Homescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Constantin Homescu to make the kick off. Nistor Dobre stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Basarab Panțâru's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. Emanuel Chiose took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Constantin Homescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Budieni's goalkeeper Nistor Dobre, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fabian Mincu might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emanuel Chiose. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fabian Mincu ran back to his position shaking his head. Claudiu Chirea hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. In the 77th minute, Basarab Panțâru got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 78 played minutes Budieni got a freekick which was hit by Marian Dulca. When Fabian Mincu came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Budieni fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabian Mincu couldn't finish the play. In the 83rd minute, Constantin Homescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Petruț Tătăruşanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nistor Dobre having to interfere. The supporters of Bulaia booed when Budieni was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudiu Chirea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emanuel Chiose was a little too slow when Constantin Homescu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 93rd minute. The score was now 0-1. The supporters of Bulaia booed when Budieni was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudiu Chirea didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Bulaia supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Budieni's performance. The match ended with a win for Budieni.
