Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Sever Paulescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vali Homeag in the 4th minute of play. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sacaseni CSM's goalkeeper Sever Paulescu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Verbia CS getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Nicodim Ianculescu hit a great ball. Verbia CS's Ion Cârstea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Nicolescu in the 23rd minute of play. Verbia CS's defense didn't have a chance, in the 26th minute, when Narcis Ogică scored to the left of an out of position Ion Cârstea, making the score, 2-0. After a rather tough play, Verbia CS's Valentin Diaconu got a free kick in the 31st minute. In the 36th minute, Ivan Nicolescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ion Cârstea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Narcis Ogică in the 38th minute. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Claudiu Sălcudeanu took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Ion Cârstea to make any attempt to save it. Ion Cârstea didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Narcis Ogică went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vali Homeag was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute, Claudiu Sălcudeanu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ion Cârstea was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. In the 59th match minute, Sacaseni CSM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Nicolescu to maneuver through the defense. Vali Andone fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ion Cârstea having to interfere. After 63 played minutes Verbia CS got a freekick which was hit by Șerban Cîrțu. After a rather tough play, Verbia CS's Șerban Cîrțu got a free kick in the 64th minute. In the 66thth minute of the game Narcis Ogică who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Verbia CS's Ion Cârstea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 73 played minutes Sacaseni CSM got a freekick which was hit by Vali Andone. After 78 played minutes Verbia CS got a freekick which was hit by Petru Atodiresei. Vali Homeag's late challenge caught a Sacaseni CSM's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vali Homeag helped the player get up and apologised. After 81 played minutes Verbia CS got a freekick which was hit by Vali Homeag. In the 84thth minute of the game Narcis Ogică who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Verbia CS's Ion Cârstea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Verbia CS booed when Sacaseni CSM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudiu Sălcudeanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Verbia CS's Ion Cârstea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vali Andone in the 92nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudiu Sălcudeanu in the 94th minute of play forced Verbia CS's goalkeeper Ion Cârstea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Sacaseni CSM had played much better football throughout.
