Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Nevesteasca's George Alexandru started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Codrin Drâmba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vali Blăniță in the 6th minute of play. Academia Sighet's Codrin Drâmba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vali Blăniță in the 7th minute of play. Codrin Drâmba came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Nevesteasca's Vali Blăniță. But to his dismay, Vali Blăniță quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by George Alexandru in the 12th minute of play forced Academia Sighet's goalkeeper Codrin Drâmba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Nevesteasca's Mugur Lucescu got control of the ball when Adrian Braru tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mugur Lucescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivan Roşca, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Gigi Ichim kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adrian Braru got free with Mugur Lucescu in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vali Blăniță received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Codrin Drâmba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adrian Braru came free with the goalkeeper in the 30th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Mugur Lucescu could save by the left post. Mugur Lucescu was a little too slow when Ivan Roşca got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 31st minute. The score was now 1-1. In the 33rd match minute, Academia Sighet was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristi Danciu to maneuver through the defense. If George Alexandru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39th minute, Vali Blăniță got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vali Blăniță fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Codrin Drâmba having to interfere. After 44 played minutes Nevesteasca got a freekick which was hit by Gigi Ichim. With a little luck, Nevesteasca's Mugur Lucescu got control of the ball when Adrian Braru tried to sneak it across the goal line. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
If George Alexandru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When George Alexandru came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Nevesteasca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that George Alexandru couldn't finish the play. Mugur Lucescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivan Roşca, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. George Alexandru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Academia Sighet booed when Nevesteasca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gigi Ichim didn't get a good kick on the ball. Academia Sighet's Luca Omescu couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 71st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Nevesteasca. After a rather tough play, Academia Sighet's Luca Omescu got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Nevesteasca's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Claudiu Hristea in the 76th minute. A nice corner shot did that Claudiu Hristea got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Codrin Drâmba quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Codrin Drâmba was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but George Alexandru showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 77 minute of play. Nevesteasca's Mugur Lucescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Roşca in the 81st minute of play. Vali Blăniță received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Codrin Drâmba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 84 played minutes Nevesteasca got a freekick which was hit by Constantin Bianu. Academia Sighet's Ivan Roşca got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Adrian Braru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
