If Vali Blăniță had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gigi Ichim during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Vali Blăniță received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ovidiu Tunar came out and tried to block the shot, but Vali Blăniță slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 17th minute. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, George Alexandru took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Ovidiu Tunar to make any attempt to save it. Vali Blăniță received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Ovidiu Tunar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling George Alexandru in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ovidiu Tunar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 32 played minutes, Oprestii's Ferdinand Vlădean shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mugur Lucescu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Oprestii reached it. A collision led to Nevesteasca getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Constantin Bianu hit a great ball. Ovidiu Tunar didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 37th minute, which inside left pole to 3-1. Tudor Encescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mugur Lucescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Corneliu Melinte's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

Tudor Encescu kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. In the 60th minute Vali Blăniță shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidiu Tunar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 65thth minute of the game Vali Blăniță who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Oprestii's Ovidiu Tunar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Oprestii getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Horia Achiriloaie hit a great ball. With a little luck, Nevesteasca's Mugur Lucescu got control of the ball when Gavril Musta tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Tudor Encescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77th minute Tudor Encescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mugur Lucescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 78th minute Vali Blăniță shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidiu Tunar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 92ndth minute of the game Tudor Encescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nevesteasca's Mugur Lucescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ovidiu Tunar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iustin Macarie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dorel Zglobiu kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Nevesteasca had won after a very even match.
