Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Augustin Ispas got the match started through his kick off. When Iurie Băbescu came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the F.C Târgoviște fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iurie Băbescu couldn't finish the play. In the 6th match minute, FC Porto Colentina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albert Aursulesei to maneuver through the defense. If Sorin Manu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 13 minutes in the game, Augustin Ispas fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Valentin Baciu having to interfere. Toader Căplescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferdinand Necula having to interfere. If Eric Elisei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ferdinand Necula showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toader Căplescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Sorin Manu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Toader Căplescu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ferdinand Necula having to make a save. Eric Elisei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Toader Căplescu took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ferdinand Necula. Ferdinand Necula dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After the first half F.C Târgoviște were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Toader Căplescu to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute of the match Silviu Nanu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ferdinand Necula skillfully saved the ball. In the 54th minute, Toader Băncilă hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 55th minute, Nistor Cismarescu sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and F.C Târgoviște's Valentin Baciu didn't even have to move. 58 minutes into the game, F.C Târgoviște's Toader Căplescu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ferdinand Necula made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. When Sorin Manu came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the FC Porto Colentina fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sorin Manu couldn't finish the play. Eric Elisei was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 64th minute. F.C Târgoviște's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Eric Elisei might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ferdinand Necula. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eric Elisei ran back to his position shaking his head. A hard shot 72 in the game by Eric Elisei from a close distance when the talented Ferdinand Necula managed to make a qualified save. FC Porto Colentina's players were relieved. 75 minutes into the match, FC Porto Colentina's goal looked a bit too open when Toader Căplescu came free, but Ferdinand Necula reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eric Elisei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Ferdinand Necula tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ferdinand Necula showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ionel Iorgu, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Ferdinand Necula had great luck who in the 90thth minute grab hold of the ball when Toader Căplescu from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. When Nistor Cismarescu fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Porto Colentina's protests and gave Nistor Cismarescu a yellow card for diving instead. In the 91st minute, Nistor Cismarescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
