With an all-out effort, Bogis Team's Valentin Baciu threw himself towards the right post 6 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Aristide Hanganu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Horaţiu Caramarin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Valentin Baciu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Horaţiu Caramarin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Valentin Baciu having to make a save. With a little luck, F.C Târgoviște's Valentin Baciu got control of the ball when Horaţiu Caramarin tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Nae Murgescu came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Bogis Team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nae Murgescu couldn't finish the play. Toader Băncilă kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the game, Cristinel Chindriș was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Horaţiu Caramarin in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Valentin Baciu saved F.C Târgoviște from getting behind. 37 minutes into the game, Horaţiu Caramarin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Valentin Baciu. Horaţiu Caramarin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Toader Băncilă's late challenge caught a Bogis Team's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Toader Băncilă helped the player get up and apologised. Toader Băncilă kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Horaţiu Caramarin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Valentin Baciu made a huge save. 47 minutes into the game, Iurie Băbescu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. F.C Târgoviște's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bogis Team the free kick. After 47 played minutes F.C Târgoviște got a freekick which was hit by Iurie Băbescu. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Horaţiu Caramarin was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, Bogis Team's Isac Mutu got control of the ball when Toader Băncilă tried to sneak it across the goal line. Isac Mutu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toader Căplescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 76th minute, Nechifor Enache hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eric Elisei recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
