Marcel Buciu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Melik Adanır in the 7th minute of the match. In the 11th minute Codruț Iuonaș shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcel Buciu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Melik Adanır had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcel Buciu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Melik Adanır showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 20 minute of play. In the 24th minute Melik Adanır shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcel Buciu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 24 played minutes Olteni CSS got a freekick which was hit by Narcis Costache. Codruț Iuonaș scored 2-0 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcel Buciu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 29 played minutes Olteni CSS got a freekick which was hit by Dragoş Dărmănescu. 32 minutes into the match, Olteni CSS's goalkeeper Marcel Buciu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Codruț Iuonaș. Codruț Iuonaș's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 33rdth minute, Marcel Buciu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 35 minutes of play, Mielusei's Codruț Iuonaș made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcel Buciu was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, Olteni CSS's Marcel Buciu got control of the ball when Codruț Iuonaș tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ernest Pupăzan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcel Buciu having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emanuel Florean to make the kick off. When Narcis Costache fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Olteni CSS's protests and gave Narcis Costache a yellow card for diving instead. Narcis Costache hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. In the 57th minute, Emanuel Florean hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcel Buciu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Codruț Iuonaș, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 69th minute, Codruț Iuonaș made a precise shot to the right of Marcel Buciu. Olteni CSS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Through an outstanding action, after 73 minutes, Roberto Albizua successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 76th minute Codruț Iuonaș shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcel Buciu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Melik Adanır in the 81st minute of play forced Olteni CSS's goalkeeper Marcel Buciu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Melik Adanır came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Mielusei fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Melik Adanır couldn't finish the play. Emanuel Florean succeeded in the game's 94th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 4-1.
