Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Cezar Burca got the match started through his kick off. Robert Chelaru didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ion Zota went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The crowd rose to their feet as Gabriel Semeghin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sever Burtea. That made the score 1-1 in the 7 minute of play. The supporters of Vartopul booed when Busu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Basarab Chițac didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 11th minute of the match Ferdinand Bârza sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Robert Chelaru skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to Vartopul getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Marcel Lupescu hit a great ball. The long shot by Cezar Burca in the 13th minute really tested Sever Burtea's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Ion Zota charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ion Zota the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Vartopul getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Ion Zota hit a great ball. Ion Zota hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Gabriel Semeghin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Sever Burtea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 24th minute, Petruț Miron got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sabin Răcănel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 29th minute, Sabin Răcănel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Robert Chelaru was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. 34 minutes into the game, Emanuel Cicortaș was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vartopul's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Busu the free kick. Aron Iurașcu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Sever Burtea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Vartopul getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Gelu Balaban hit a great ball. 39 minutes into the match, Valentin Zăgănescu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Robert Chelaru. Busu's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Valentin Zăgănescu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. If Cezar Burca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.
After 52 played minutes Busu got a freekick which was hit by Valer Chinezu. Robert Chelaru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcel Lupescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Sever Burtea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cezar Burca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Busu defense, Valentin Zăgănescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Robert Chelaru. The Busu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Robert Chelaru should have stopped the shot. Cezar Burca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Sever Burtea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Petruț Miron might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sever Burtea. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Petruț Miron ran back to his position shaking his head. Sever Burtea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cezar Burca in the 68th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Vartopul's Valentin Zăgănescu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Robert Chelaru. That made the score 1-6 after 69 minutes of play. Petruț Miron received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Sever Burtea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Busu fans' excitement grew in the 75th match minute when Busu's Petruț Miron looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 78 minutes into the match, Busu's goal looked a bit too open when Ion Zota came free, but Robert Chelaru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th minute, Marcel Lupescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Busu's Cezar Burca got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Robert Chelaru didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sabin Răcănel went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-7 was the resulting score. When the match clock showed 88 minutes, the score became 3-7 when Cezar Burca sped through Vartopul's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sever Burtea. Valentin Zăgănescu hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. In the 95th minute, Vartopul's Valentin Zăgănescu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Robert Chelaru. Robert Chelaru yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-8.
