Andrei Chihaia was a little too slow when Ioan Rada got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 18th minute. The score was now 2-0. Nae Marinică's late challenge caught a Ivopataka's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nae Marinică helped the player get up and apologised. The audience was convinced that Robert Lepuș's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Petre Prelipceanu was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. When Ivopataka's Robert Lepuș in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ioan Rada in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andrei Chihaia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 73rd minute, Tudor Lepuș left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ivopataka fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. The supporters of FC Gura-Bustei booed when Ivopataka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iustin Ilarie didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 79th minute, Ioan Rada got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Ioan Rada came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the FC Gura-Bustei fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ioan Rada couldn't finish the play. If Ioan Rada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Remus Arnăuțescu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Andrei Chihaia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. Remus Arnăuțescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrei Chihaia having to interfere. Iustin Ilarie kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Ivopataka's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
