Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dinamo's Marcu Harhoiu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Răzvan Curuțiu in the 2nd minute of play. Marcu Harhoiu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niculae Baldovin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcu Harhoiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niculae Baldovin in the 6th minute of play. In the 7th minute Gavril Măliță shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernest Rotariu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Răzvan Curuțiu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fauresti's supporters rose to their feet, but Răzvan Curuțiu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcu Harhoiu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 11 minutes into the match, Dinamo's Avram Bârlea sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ernest Rotariu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Martin Eremia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernest Rotariu having to interfere. After 16 minutes, Olimpiu Hâncu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fauresti and the Dinamo players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 16th minute of the game. One of Fauresti:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Dinamo:s goal. The goalkeeper, Ernest Rotariu, was totally fooled by Dinamo's Aron Caranfil, who 18 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. 22 minutes into the match, Dinamo's goal looked a bit too open when Răzvan Curuțiu came free, but Marcu Harhoiu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 27 minutes into the game, Niculae Baldovin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fauresti's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dinamo the free kick. Niculae Baldovin hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Marcu Harhoiu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niculae Baldovin in the 31st minute of the match. When Avram Bârlea came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Dinamo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Avram Bârlea couldn't finish the play. In the 42nd minute Niculae Baldovin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcu Harhoiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gavril Măliță fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernest Rotariu having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Răzvan Curuțiu made a kick off. The supporters of Fauresti booed when Dinamo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mihai Trăistaru didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 56th minute Răzvan Curuțiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcu Harhoiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 57 minutes of play, Fauresti's Răzvan Curuțiu made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcu Harhoiu was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Dinamo booed when Fauresti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Doru Zbughină didn't get a good kick on the ball. Avram Bârlea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Ernest Rotariu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Dinamo's Gavril Măliță in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fauresti's goalie prevented a goal. Marcu Harhoiu made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Niculae Baldovin sent off a good shot on target. Gheorghe Chiriac hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. If Gavril Măliță had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Fauresti's Narcis Ciuhandu got a free kick in the 75th minute. Avram Bârlea struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Ernest Rotariu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dinamo. After having played for 80 minutes, Niculae Baldovin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fauresti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Niculae Baldovin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Avram Bârlea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dinamo's supporters rose to their feet, but Avram Bârlea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ernest Rotariu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Niculae Baldovin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Dinamo's goalkeeper Marcu Harhoiu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dinamo's Marcu Harhoiu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Răzvan Curuțiu in the 95th minute of play.
