Nechifor Podgoreanu hit a great ball. 18 minutes into the match, Paul Răuţă had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Peter Norberg. Plapcea's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paul Răuţă was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Plapcea's Peter Norberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paul Răuţă in the 27th minute of play. Petruț Liviu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Răzvan Bivolaru charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Răzvan Bivolaru the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Plapcea booed when Berbesul was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Răzvan Bivolaru didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Berbesul's Ernest Budianu got control of the ball when Ferdinand Bodiu tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Marcu Lozovan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Berbesul's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcu Lozovan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Peter Norberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marian Cimpoieru to make the kick off. Berbesul's Paul Răuţă got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Plapcea's Chico Baiano got a free kick in the 53rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferdinand Bodiu in the 57th minute of play forced Berbesul's goalkeeper Ernest Budianu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 59 minutes into the game, Ferdinand Bodiu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Ernest Budianu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ferdinand Bodiu scored 3-1 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ernest Budianu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marian Cimpoieru in the 72nd minute of play forced Berbesul's goalkeeper Ernest Budianu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Berbesul's Aristide Vulcan got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 99 minutes into the match, Janusz Ikalewicz sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Peter Norberg threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Janusz Ikalewicz this time. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Plapcea had won after a very even match.
