CSA Steaua Bucuresti's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Satelitu the free kick. The supporters of Satelitu booed when CSA Steaua Bucuresti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dorin Bistreanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 32nd minute of the match Ionuț Găvan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Manuel Spirache showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After having played for 45 minutes, Gigi Enoiu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Satelitu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gigi Enoiu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Emanuel Tatomir took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alex Bunescu. In the 55th minute, Romeo Lucian left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CSA Steaua Bucuresti fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Alex Bunescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emanuel Tatomir went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Vali Răducu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Manuel Spirache made a huge save. Alex Bunescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Tatomir, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Emanuel Tatomir put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Alex Bunescu. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romeo Lucian in the 71st minute of play forced Satelitu's goalkeeper Alex Bunescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee ended the match the CSA Steaua Bucuresti players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
