Unirea BFF's Mugur Chificeac proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Unirea BFF from getting a goal against them. Vlad Dărăscu kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the game, Ioan Pârlea cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Irinel Beniuc was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 21st minute, Aurelian Stănciulescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 26th minute, Emanuel Becheanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 30 minutes into the match, Corbeanca's goal looked a bit too open when George Cutean came free, but Irinel Beniuc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st minute, Vintilă Mustăcilă fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Mugur Chificeac, passed just outside the right post. After a rather tough play, Unirea BFF's Emanuel Becheanu got a free kick in the 35th minute. After 37 minutes, Sorin Hidiș mouthed his way into the referee's book. A collision led to Unirea BFF getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Emanuel Becheanu hit a great ball. Vintilă Mustăcilă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mugur Chificeac having to interfere.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vintilă Mustăcilă to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Corbeanca's zone, Ioan Pârlea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Irinel Beniuc came out of the goal and Ioan Pârlea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Nicolae Petrea came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Unirea BFF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicolae Petrea couldn't finish the play. Irinel Beniuc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from George Cutean, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 58 minutes into the match, Unirea BFF's goal looked a bit too open when Vintilă Mustăcilă came free, but Mugur Chificeac reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Ioan Pârlea could shoot a difficult shot in the 62nd minute, which Irinel Beniuc however easily saved by the left post. A hard shot by Manole Hagi from long distance, 64 minutes into the match, got Irinel Beniuc's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Mugur Chificeac came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Corbeanca's Eliodor Jula. But to his dismay, Eliodor Jula quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Vintilă Mustăcilă hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Unirea BFF's George Cutean got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 74 minutes, Ioan Pârlea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Unirea BFF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ioan Pârlea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 78 played minutes Corbeanca got a freekick which was hit by Petrică Vlădean. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Ioan Pârlea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Unirea BFF's supporters rose to their feet, but Ioan Pârlea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Irinel Beniuc breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliodor Jula in the 83rd minute of play forced Unirea BFF's goalkeeper Mugur Chificeac to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Corbeanca's Vintilă Mustăcilă got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vintilă Mustăcilă struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Mugur Chificeac didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Corbeanca. 89 minutes into the match, Ioan Pârlea had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Irinel Beniuc. Corbeanca's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ioan Pârlea was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. In the 93rd play minute Ioan Pârlea came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Irinel Beniuc. 1-3. A collision led to Unirea BFF getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Emanuel Becheanu hit a great ball. The Unirea BFF players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
