In the 14th minute, one of MCM.LAZIO:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for MCM.LAZIO. In the 28th minute, Codruț Pitiș hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. George Bunescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ionică Zgabei, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Vlad Țepeneag's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 39thth minute, Cazimir Diaconescu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Vargyas's goalkeeper Cazimir Diaconescu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Radu Ghițulescu got free with George Bunescu in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Radu Ghițulescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cazimir Diaconescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vlad Țepeneag, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Silviu Nicolau hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Vlad Țepeneag scored 2-1 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cazimir Diaconescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Radu Ghițulescu succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-2 in the 67th playminute.
