But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Horaţiu Negulescu couldn't finish the play. After 35 played minutes Balmosesti got a freekick which was hit by Laurențiu Aanicăi. Ionel Seţeanu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Constantin Culcer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. Horaţiu Negulescu was extremely unlucky when he, in the 44th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Costel Musta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 1-0 became the score in the 48th minute when Ionel Seţeanu elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ionel Seţeanu made a kick off. Constantin Culcer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ionel Seţeanu in the 56th minute of play. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bosanceni's goalkeeper Constantin Culcer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Marin Oprița blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emilian Bucurescu having to make a save. Bosanceni's Marin Oprița got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Basarab Târcă took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Emilian Bucurescu to make any attempt to save it. Constantin Culcer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horaţiu Negulescu in the 79th minute of play. Balmosesti's Horaţiu Negulescu got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Basarab Târcă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Constantin Culcer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horaţiu Negulescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. If Marin Oprița had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Basarab Târcă sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
