Teodor Nandriș received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Constantin Culcer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Teodor Nandriș succeeded in the game's 10th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. Cristian Iorgovan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marin Oprița in the 13th minute of the match. Augustin Barbăneagră received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Constantin Culcer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marin Oprița sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 21st minute Basarab Târcă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristian Iorgovan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Iorgovan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marin Oprița in the 23rd minute of the match. After 27 minutes, Marin Oprița made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Gheboaia CSS's Cristian Iorgovan tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Gheboaia CSS's zone, Basarab Târcă stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristian Iorgovan came out of the goal and Basarab Târcă tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Basarab Târcă's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristian Iorgovan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Teodor Nandriș managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gheboaia CSS's supporters rose to their feet, but Teodor Nandriș was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Constantin Culcer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Augustin Barbăneagră was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Augustin Barbăneagră managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gheboaia CSS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Augustin Barbăneagră was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 55th minute Basarab Târcă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristian Iorgovan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marin Oprița could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Cristian Iorgovan made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Basarab Târcă in the 70th minute of play forced Gheboaia CSS's goalkeeper Cristian Iorgovan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Gheboaia CSS's Cornel Gorcea got a free kick in the 71st minute. Bosanceni's David Manolache shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 72nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Cristian Iorgovan but with some difficulty. Constantin Culcer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodor Nandriș in the 74th minute of play. Marin Oprița came free with the goalkeeper in the 79th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Cristian Iorgovan could save by the left post. Marin Oprița blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cristian Iorgovan having to make a save. After 93 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Gheboaia CSS! The goalkeeper, Cristian Iorgovan, was totally fooled by Bosanceni's David Manolache, who 95 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Bosanceni had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
