Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Ion Dănescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Herescu in the 2nd minute of play. In the 4th minute of the match, Ivan Herescu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ion Dănescu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sever Apostu in the 8th minute of play forced Steierdorf FC's goalkeeper Cristinel Isaicu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 14 minutes, Silviu Platon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Steierdorf FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silviu Platon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Silviu Platons short, quick shot in the 16thth minute got Ion Dănescu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Dezesti CS's Sever Apostu got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cristinel Isaicu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sever Apostu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Dezesti CS's zone, Ivan Herescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ion Dănescu came out of the goal and Ivan Herescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cristinel Isaicu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aron Cocea, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Dezesti CS's Ion Dănescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Herescu in the 29th minute of play. Aron Cocea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Cristinel Isaicu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edgar Isaicu hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ivan Herescu to make the kick off. In the 52ndth minute of the game Silviu Platon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dezesti CS's Ion Dănescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cristinel Isaicu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aron Cocea in the 58th minute of the match. In the 67th minute, Silviu Platon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cristinel Isaicu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aron Cocea, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. If Aron Cocea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Steierdorf FC booed when Dezesti CS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sever Apostu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Silviu Platon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ion Dănescu having to interfere. Silviu Platon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Steierdorf FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
