Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Bleici's Gavril Baldovin started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Augustin Honciu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Călin Fecioru in the 3rd minute of play. Călin Fecioru blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Augustin Honciu having to make a save. Nae Niculescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Augustin Honciu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Călin Fecioru, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. 10 minutes into the match, Valentin Cosariu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gică Tunar. Gangiova's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Valentin Cosariu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After 13 played minutes Gangiova got a freekick which was hit by Romeo Bănățeanu. Augustin Honciu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Călin Fecioru, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. A collision led to Bleici getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Răzvan Huțanu hit a great ball. Augustin Honciu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Călin Fecioru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gangiova's Ovidiu Decuseară was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Augustin Honciu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 25th minute, Călin Fecioru ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Augustin Honciu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 30 minutes into the match, Bleici's goal looked a bit too open when Călin Fecioru came free, but Augustin Honciu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gavril Baldovin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Gică Tunar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Călin Fecioru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nae Niculescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gică Tunar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gavril Baldovin's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Valentin Cosariu might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gică Tunar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Valentin Cosariu ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 63rd minute, Gavril Baldovin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Călin Fecioru in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Augustin Honciu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Gangiova's goalkeeper Gică Tunar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nae Niculescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augustin Honciu having to interfere. 81 minutes into the match, Valentin Cosariu notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Gangiova's Gică Tunar. Gică Tunar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Gavril Baldovin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gică Tunar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gavril Baldovin went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. In the 93rd match minute, Gangiova was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ovidiu Decuseară to maneuver through the defense.
