The referee ignored Bolovanesti's protests and gave Mihnea Zglobiu a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Firefighter BT ★Dac★ booed when Bolovanesti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mihnea Zglobiu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cosimo Pettinelli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Dorel Maruță tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mihnea Zglobiu got free with Aurelian Băncilă in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 24 minutes Firefighter BT ★Dac★'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cristi Matei who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Bolovanesti's Cristi Matei to fire away a dangerous shot which Aurelian Băncilă despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Dorel Maruță came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Firefighter BT ★Dac★'s Don Skotbo. But to his dismay, Don Skotbo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Dorel Maruță was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Don Skotbo was the one to do the kick off. When the match had gone on for 51 minutes, Don Skotbo put it in 0-8 from a short distance just to the right of Dorel Maruță. Dorel Maruță stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Don Skotbo's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. The audience was convinced that Don Skotbo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dorel Maruță was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. Dorel Maruță was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ilie Antipa's late challenge caught a Firefighter BT ★Dac★'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ilie Antipa helped the player get up and apologised. In the 81st minute, Ilie Antipa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 83rd play minute Cosimo Pettinelli came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Dorel Maruță. 0-12. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Don Skotbo put it in 0-13 from a short distance just to the right of Dorel Maruță. After 90 minutes of play, Firefighter BT ★Dac★'s Don Skotbo made it 0-14 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dorel Maruță was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 95th minute, Ilie Antipa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Bolovanesti's Dorel Maruță got control of the ball when Cosimo Pettinelli tried to sneak it across the goal line. Firefighter BT ★Dac★'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
