The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gabriel Chificeac to strike the kick off in the second half. Fabian Josan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leontin Buzincu in the 58th minute of the match. Brinzeni's Leontin Buzincu got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Capatanenii CSS getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Sever Maftei hit a great ball. 67 minutes into the game, Brinzeni's Gabriel Chificeac nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fabian Josan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. If Gabriel Chificeac had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Capatanenii CSS booed when Brinzeni was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victor Arseanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Capatanenii CSS's Cătălin Mandoiu couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute. Capatanenii CSS's supporters rose to their feet, but Șerban Lamru was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ionel Iovulescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Gabriel Chificeac had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabian Josan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Chificeac in the 82nd minute of play. In the 92nd match minute, Capatanenii CSS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cătălin Mandoiu to maneuver through the defense. In the 97th minute Panait Panaitoiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ionel Iovulescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
