Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Lucian Dudea took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the game, Gică Varga was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Resita FCM's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Izvorani CF the free kick. Gică Varga kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. If Luca Nediu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 11th minute Luca Nediu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ilie Baican saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ilie Baican showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luca Nediu, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 15th minute, Horia Turlea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Horia Turlea who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 18thth minute tested the skills of Dragoş Melinescu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 21 minutes into the match, Izvorani CF's goalkeeper Dragoş Melinescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Horia Turlea. Resita FCM's Ilie Baican played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valeriu Belu in the 23rd minute of play. 26 minutes into the game, Eliodor Lobonț was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Resita FCM's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Izvorani CF the free kick. After 26 played minutes Resita FCM got a freekick which was hit by Eliodor Lobonț. In the 27th minute, Nichifor Stoicănescu sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Resita FCM's Ilie Baican didn't even have to move. Valeriu Belu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Izvorani CF's Dragoş Melinescu got control of the ball when Horia Turlea tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ilie Baican showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luca Nediu in the 45th minute of the match. In the 46th minute Lucian Dudea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dragoş Melinescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luca Nediu made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Luca Nediu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Izvorani CF's Petre Șerbulea got a free kick in the 59th minute. In the 60th minute of the match Alexandru Homeag sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dragoş Melinescu skillfully saved the ball. In the 65th match minute, Izvorani CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Petre Șerbulea to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Resita FCM's Alexandru Homeag tried to score from far away in the 66th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Dragoş Melinescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucian Dudea in the 76th minute of the match. In the 83rd match minute, Izvorani CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Răzvan Valeca to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horia Turlea in the 88th minute of play forced Izvorani CF's goalkeeper Dragoş Melinescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lucian Dudea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
