Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 13th minute, Remus Gâgea left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pitangeles fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Octavian Vătăşel was a little too slow when Gheorghe Pietreanu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 17th minute. The score was now 1-1. In the 24th match minute, Pitangeles was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Codruț Luncaniță to maneuver through the defense. In the 26th match minute, Galsa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Roşca to maneuver through the defense. Galsa's Gabriel Honciu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vasile Ciorbea in the 27th minute of play. The supporters of Galsa booed when Pitangeles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marius Buricea didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Moise Aldulescu during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Galsa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pitangeles the free kick. Olimpiu Boian struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Octavian Vătăşel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Galsa. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Olimpiu Boian was the one to do the kick off. After 51 minutes, Marius Buricea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pitangeles and the Galsa players grew even worse after the yellow card. Octavian Vătăşel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olimpiu Boian in the 54th minute of the match. In the 56th minute, Nicu Pătru ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gabriel Honciu was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Octavian Vătăşel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gheorghe Pietreanu went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Pitangeles's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Vasile Ciorbea in the 78th minute. In the 82nd minute Vasile Ciorbea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Honciu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vasile Ciorbea in the 83rd minute of play forced Galsa's goalkeeper Gabriel Honciu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 87 played minutes Pitangeles got a freekick which was hit by Moise Aldulescu. 89 minutes into the match, Nicu Pătru had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gabriel Honciu. Galsa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nicu Pătru was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-4. After having played for 95 minutes, Adrian Ţiţeica managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Galsa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adrian Ţiţeica was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Olimpiu Boian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Pitangeles eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
