But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Horia Teaşcă couldn't finish the play. The referee ignored Brașov HooliganS's protests and gave Sandu Gruescu a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Pitangeles booed when Brașov HooliganS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sandu Gruescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Brașov HooliganS's goalkeeper Eitel Patrzek, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Brașov HooliganS's Horia Teaşcă got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Octavian Vătăşel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horia Teaşcă in the 87th minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, Pitangeles's goal looked a bit too open when Șerban Gherasim came free, but Octavian Vătăşel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
