Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) FC Stiinta Corabia's Andrei Caranfil started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Aurel Cotuțiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. A wasted opportunity for UMF IASI. 7 minutes into the match, UMF IASI's goal looked a bit too open when Andrei Caranfil came free, but Mugur Ailenei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Felix Agachi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sorin Timofte went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Marin Tărbac received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Mugur Ailenei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18thth minute of the game Sorin Timofte who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Stiinta Corabia's Felix Agachi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Felix Agachi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aurel Cotuțiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. The audience was convinced that Aurel Cotuțiu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Felix Agachi was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. In the 25th minute Cristian Teodorescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Agachi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felix Agachi didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when UMF IASI's Aurel Cotuțiu shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-4 in the ordered_time% minute. The attack was good, but when Aurel Cotuțiu in the 44th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Felix Agachi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Felix Agachi was out of position in the 74 minute of play, and Ştefan Gordunescu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ştefan Gordunescu really showed his touch with that goal: 0-8. After a rather tough play, FC Stiinta Corabia's Mihai Arotăriței got a free kick in the 80th minute. Felix Agachi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurel Cotuțiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felix Agachi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ştefan Gordunescu in the 84th minute of play. In the 89thth minute of the game Aurel Cotuțiu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Stiinta Corabia's Felix Agachi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the final whistle sounded UMF IASI left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC Stiinta Corabia.
