Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Aurel Pârvuță started the match with the kick off. Cristinel Șeitan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Corneliu Nae, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Poetas's Cristinel Șeitan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Poetas from getting a goal against them. 7 minutes into the match, Poetas's goalkeeper Cristinel Șeitan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mihai Voinea. In the 8th minute Corneliu Nae shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristinel Șeitan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sabin Tache took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 11th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Paul Feroiu. Delta Tulcea's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Mugurel Stănculescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 24th minute of the match Basarab Daraban shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paul Feroiu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Aristide Alexiu's late challenge caught a Poetas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aristide Alexiu helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Delta Tulcea getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Aristide Alexiu hit a great ball. 31 minutes into the match, Delta Tulcea's goal looked a bit too open when Aurel Pârvuță came free, but Paul Feroiu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th match minute, Poetas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurel Pârvuță to maneuver through the defense. 36 minutes into the game, Leontin Astafei was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Poetas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Delta Tulcea the free kick. A collision led to Poetas getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Leontin Astafei hit a great ball. In the 43rdth minute of the game Aurel Pârvuță who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Delta Tulcea's Paul Feroiu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mihai Voinea made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Corneliu Nae during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 52nd match minute, Delta Tulcea was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Corneliu Nae to maneuver through the defense. Cristinel Șeitan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mihai Voinea, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Paul Feroiu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aurel Pârvuță in the 55th minute. Vali Bobeica received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Paul Feroiu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 61 minutes, Petrică Ailenei mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Delta Tulcea and the Poetas players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Delta Tulcea getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Petrică Ailenei hit a great ball. Cristinel Șeitan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mihai Voinea, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. In the 68th minute, Mihai Voinea left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Delta Tulcea fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. A collision led to Poetas getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Tudor Iorga hit a great ball. Aurel Pârvuță fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paul Feroiu having to interfere. 89 minutes into the match, Petrică Ailenei had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cristinel Șeitan. Poetas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Petrică Ailenei was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Aurel Pârvuță had several of the Delta Tulcea's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 96 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-4 score and a disappointed Paul Feroiu as he didn't even see the shot coming. Poetas's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
