After 2 played minutes A.C.Milan Iași got a freekick which was hit by Gelu Frântu. When FC Medicina Bucuresti's Nicolae Penaru in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye A.C.Milan Iași's goalie prevented a goal. Nicolae Penaru who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 5thth minute tested the skills of Aurel Dragomiroiu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A.C.Milan Iași's Aurel Dragomiroiu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolae Penaru in the 7th minute of play. In the 10th minute of the match Adriano De Simone shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aurel Dragomiroiu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 10 played minutes A.C.Milan Iași got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Vornicescu. Teodor Bălășoiu kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. In the 14th minute, Adriano De Simone hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 15th minute Codrin Sava shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mihai Drăucean saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduard Melentie in the 20th minute of play forced A.C.Milan Iași's goalkeeper Aurel Dragomiroiu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the FC Medicina Bucuresti defense, Codrin Sava kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mihai Drăucean. The FC Medicina Bucuresti fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mihai Drăucean should have stopped the shot. In the 30thth minute of the game Nicolae Penaru who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but A.C.Milan Iași's Aurel Dragomiroiu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Eduard Melentie managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Medicina Bucuresti's supporters rose to their feet, but Eduard Melentie was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aurel Dragomiroiu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nicolae Penaru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Aurel Dragomiroiu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Nicolae Penaru came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the FC Medicina Bucuresti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicolae Penaru couldn't finish the play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nicolae Penaru stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, FC Medicina Bucuresti's goal looked a bit too open when Gelu Frântu came free, but Mihai Drăucean reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eduard Melentie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurel Dragomiroiu having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Eduard Melentie managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Medicina Bucuresti's supporters rose to their feet, but Eduard Melentie was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aurel Dragomiroiu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 91 minutes into the game, Nicolae Penaru cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Aurel Dragomiroiu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 95th minute, Aristide Brădescu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mihai Drăucean. The goal made the score 1-3. The FC Medicina Bucuresti supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching A.C.Milan Iași's performance. The match ended with a win for A.C.Milan Iași.
