With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lento Phoenix in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Virgil Curteanu saved FC DACIA BRĂILA from getting behind. After 11 minutes, Lento Phoenix mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the RETRO FC and the FC DACIA BRĂILA players grew even worse after the yellow card. Lento Phoenix kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Horia Noica charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Horia Noica the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, FC DACIA BRĂILA's Stelian Milcu got a free kick in the 35th minute. 36 minutes in the game, Lento Phoenix fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Virgil Curteanu having to interfere. Tudor Pășcuțoiu scored 2-0 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Virgil Curteanu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 41st minute, Tudor Pășcuțoiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Martin Onciu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Rafael Txatxu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tudor Pășcuțoiu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Virgil Curteanu made a huge save. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tudor Pășcuțoiu to strike the kick off in the second half. Virgil Curteanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tudor Pășcuțoiu in the 51st minute of play. In the 52nd minute, Tudor Pășcuțoiu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Virgil Curteanu was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. After 55 played minutes RETRO FC got a freekick which was hit by Calistrat Mereacre. Martin Onciu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. After 60 minutes of play, FC DACIA BRĂILA's Stelian Milcu made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rafael Txatxu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dan Dăscălescu's late challenge caught a RETRO FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dan Dăscălescu helped the player get up and apologised. After 65 played minutes FC DACIA BRĂILA got a freekick which was hit by Dan Dăscălescu. FC DACIA BRĂILA's Martin Onciu got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lento Phoenix sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lento Phoenix recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 88th minute Costică Zbuchea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Txatxu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Virgil Curteanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lento Phoenix in the 94th minute of the match. Many of FC DACIA BRĂILA's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. FC DACIA BRĂILA may have spent more time on the ball, but RETRO FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
