The crowd rose to their feet as Edgar Horhoianu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Matei Rotariu. That made the score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Sandu Dulfu could shoot a difficult shot in the 8th minute, which Matei Rotariu however easily saved by the left post. A hard shot 11 in the game by Sandu Dulfu from a close distance when the talented Matei Rotariu managed to make a qualified save. Steaua Somcuta MM's players were relieved. In the 13th minute, Edgar Horhoianu made a precise shot to the right of Matei Rotariu. Steaua Somcuta MM's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. The supporters of Alcool F.C. TBC booed when Steaua Somcuta MM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Irinel Răuțchi didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Edgar Horhoianu took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Matei Rotariu to make any attempt to save it. When Alcool F.C. TBC's Edgar Horhoianu in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Steaua Somcuta MM's goalie prevented a goal. Sandu Dulfu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Matei Rotariu made a huge save. If Edgar Horhoianu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 45 minutes into the game, Alcool F.C. TBC's Felix Gheție nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Matei Rotariu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

The wind increased when Edgar Horhoianu made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Sandu Dulfu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Steaua Somcuta MM's Aurelian Chira got a free kick in the 54th minute. 58 minutes into the match, Steaua Somcuta MM's goal looked a bit too open when Edgar Horhoianu came free, but Matei Rotariu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Matei Rotariu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgar Horhoianu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Alcool F.C. TBC booed when Steaua Somcuta MM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iordache Pârvuță didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 69th minute, one of Alcool F.C. TBC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Alcool F.C. TBC. Antoni Makarewicz had in the 71stth minute some difficulties stopping Iacob Prisecaru's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Edgar Horhoianu took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Matei Rotariu. Matei Rotariu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Virgil Popoiu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Matei Rotariu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. In the 84th match minute, Alcool F.C. TBC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mihai Tripon to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Steaua Somcuta MM's Iacob Prisecaru tried to score from far away in the 85th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Matei Rotariu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Felix Gheție went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. In the 90th minute, Edgar Horhoianu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Matei Rotariu was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. The audience was convinced that Edgar Horhoianu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Matei Rotariu was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. There was no doubt that Alcool F.C. TBC were the better team. Alcool F.C. TBC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
