Traian Pușcașu's late challenge caught a Viltotesti AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Traian Pușcașu helped the player get up and apologised. In the 30th minute, Traian Pușcașu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 31st match minute, JUNIOR 2012 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavius Nechifor to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, JUNIOR 2012's Dan Pintilie got a free kick in the 43rd minute.

Viltotesti AFC's Cristian Popic got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. JUNIOR 2012's Sebastian Minulescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Constantin Vrânceanu in the 55th minute of play. In the 55th match minute, JUNIOR 2012 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dinu Murgoci to maneuver through the defense. In the 57th minute, Dinu Murgoci hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Constantin Vrânceanu in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sebastian Minulescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 64 minutes, Dinu Bacanu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Viltotesti AFC and the JUNIOR 2012 players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 65th match minute, Viltotesti AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dinu Bacanu to maneuver through the defense. JUNIOR 2012's Virgil Oprescu shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 65th minute of play. With his leg Francisc Aldulea managed to avoid a goal in the 75thth minute, when JUNIOR 2012's Cătălin Nicolau fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 78 minutes, Cătălin Nicolau made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Viltotesti AFC's Francisc Aldulea tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Popic in the 87th minute of play forced JUNIOR 2012's goalkeeper Sebastian Minulescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 88 minutes into the game, Aurelian Focșa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. JUNIOR 2012's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Viltotesti AFC the free kick. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
