After 7 minutes of play, MINERUL BALAN's Emilian Apolzan made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Niculae Ecobici was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sebastian Oros could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Jan Popowicz made a huge save. Liviu Baștină struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Niculae Ecobici didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MINERUL BALAN. If Emilian Apolzan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Niculae Ecobici didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emilian Apolzan went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. The MINERUL BALAN fans' excitement grew in the 29th match minute when MINERUL BALAN's Emilian Apolzan looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 0-7 became the score in the 37th minute when Emilian Apolzan elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Niculae Ecobici made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tudor Chiose in the 40th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emilian Apolzan in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Niculae Ecobici prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Nicu Minulescu fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cst's protests and gave Nicu Minulescu a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Cst's Nicu Minulescu got a free kick in the 42nd minute. In the 45th minute, Emilian Apolzan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Niculae Ecobici was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. Disappointed in the 0-8 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nistor Ene made a kick off. Niculae Ecobici made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emilian Apolzan in the 51st minute. 52 minutes in the game, Tudor Chiose fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Niculae Ecobici having to interfere. With his leg Niculae Ecobici managed to avoid a goal in the 53rdth minute, when MINERUL BALAN's Emilian Apolzan fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 55th match minute, Cst was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicolae Minulescu to maneuver through the defense. Pascal Massenhove struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Niculae Ecobici didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MINERUL BALAN. MINERUL BALAN's Emilian Apolzan was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 57th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Hampus Lindgren kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Niculae Ecobici. That made the score 0-10 in the 62 minute of play. Emilian Apolzans short, quick shot in the 65thth minute got Niculae Ecobici to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Niculae Ecobici didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Liviu Baștină went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-11 was the resulting score. Cst's Niculae Ecobici proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Cst from getting a goal against them. Emilian Apolzan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 71stth minute tested the skills of Niculae Ecobici when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Emilian Apolzans short, quick shot in the 73rdth minute got Niculae Ecobici to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tudor Chiose in the 78th minute of play forced Cst's goalkeeper Niculae Ecobici to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Tudor Chiose had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 84 minutes into the match, Emilian Apolzan notched a goal, 0-13, to the right of Cst's Niculae Ecobici. Niculae Ecobici was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Emilian Apolzan scored 0-14 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Niculae Ecobici, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 96th play minute Emilian Apolzan came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Niculae Ecobici. 0-15. MINERUL BALAN played a much better game than Cst and deserved their victory. The Cst players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
