The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ovidiu Bojin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerardo Moise, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Antoni Osielski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manole Crașovan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cezar Zmărăndache in the 8th minute of play forced Champions Iasi's goalkeeper Ovidiu Bojin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Izesti's Cezar Zmărăndache managed to work through Champions Iasi's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Cezar Zmărăndache dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. In the 11th minute, FC Izesti's Cezar Zmărăndache ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ovidiu Bojin. Ovidiu Bojin yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 14 minutes into the match, Champions Iasi's goalkeeper Ovidiu Bojin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gigel Lozovan. After a rather tough play, Champions Iasi's Luca Rădvan got a free kick in the 16th minute. 2-0 became the score in the 18th minute when Gerardo Moise elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Champions Iasi's Ovidiu Bojin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cosmin Gâțea in the 20th minute of play. In the 24th minute of the match, Cezar Zmărăndache tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ovidiu Bojin saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. George Vâlcu kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Gerardo Moise took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Ovidiu Bojin to make any attempt to save it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sorin Năsturel during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 32nd match minute, Champions Iasi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sorin Năsturel to maneuver through the defense. Champions Iasi's Ovidiu Bojin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Champions Iasi from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Champions Iasi's Ovidiu Bojin got control of the ball when Cosmin Gâțea tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cezar Zmărăndache scored 4-0 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ovidiu Bojin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Aron Bilașco kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ovidiu Bojin. That made the score 5-0 in the 42 minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC Izesti's Gerardo Moise got a free kick in the 44th minute. Champions Iasi's Ovidiu Bojin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Champions Iasi from getting a goal against them. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gerardo Moise stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes of play, FC Izesti's Gerardo Moise made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ovidiu Bojin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cezar Zmărăndache scored 7-0 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ovidiu Bojin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cosmin Gâțea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ovidiu Bojin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerardo Moise, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. After 62 minutes of play Champions Iasi's Sorin Năsturel was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Champions Iasi getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Sorin Năsturel hit a great ball. Ovidiu Bojin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cosmin Gâțea went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aron Bilașco in the 70th minute of play forced Champions Iasi's goalkeeper Ovidiu Bojin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 72 minutes into the match, Cezar Zmărăndache notched a goal, 9-0, to the right of Champions Iasi's Ovidiu Bojin. Ovidiu Bojin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ovidiu Bojin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cosmin Gâțea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 78 minutes into the match, Gerardo Moise had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ovidiu Bojin. Champions Iasi's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gerardo Moise was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 10-0. 81 minutes into the game, Cezar Zmărăndache cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 11-0. Ovidiu Bojin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ovidiu Bojin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerardo Moise, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 87 minutes into the match, Champions Iasi's goal looked a bit too open when Cezar Zmărăndache came free, but Ovidiu Bojin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aron Bilașco hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. FC Izesti walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
