In the 4thth minute of the game Damian Şerb who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but DACIA UNIREA BRĂILA's Miroslav Smola was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Damian Şerb did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Miroslav Smola 9 minutes into the match. DACIA UNIREA BRĂILA's defense didn't have a chance, in the 13th minute, when Toader Burca scored to the left of an out of position Miroslav Smola, making the score, 2-0. Miroslav Smola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cazimir Pătran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 23 minutes DACIA UNIREA BRĂILA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Petrică Chificeac who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Damian Şerb almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but DACIA UNIREA BRĂILA's Miroslav Smola did a great save. After a defensive mix-up in DACIA UNIREA BRĂILA's zone, Cazimir Pătran stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miroslav Smola came out of the goal and Cazimir Pătran tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cazimir Pătran got free with Miroslav Smola in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 33 minutes into the match, Romania's goal looked a bit too open when Cosmin Niculiță came free, but Leontin Racoviceanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Korneliusz Antoszewski's late challenge caught a Romania's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Korneliusz Antoszewski helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, DACIA UNIREA BRĂILA's Korneliusz Antoszewski got a free kick in the 35th minute. Toader Spirache sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cazimir Pătran to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, DACIA UNIREA BRĂILA's goal looked a bit too open when Toader Burca came free, but Miroslav Smola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
