With a little luck, FC ALEX JR's Sorin Horațiu got control of the ball when Alex Cunea tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rasnita's Flavius Ferenț played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristi Geamănu in the 16th minute of play. Sorin Horațiu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Toacsen in the 18th minute of the match. Sorin Horațiu was a little too slow when Gigel Apăvăloaie got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 19th minute. The score was now 1-0. Sorin Horațiu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gigel Apăvăloaie, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. It was a well-played corner which Gigel Uncheşu managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. The supporters of Rasnita booed when FC ALEX JR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ognyan Peshev didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Sorin Horațiu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alex Cunea, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. In the 52nd minute David Ekelund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavius Ferenț saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rasnita's Alex Cunea got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Rasnita's Gică Iftimescu got a free kick in the 56th minute. Gigel Apăvăloaie kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. 63 minutes into the match, FC ALEX JR's goal looked a bit too open when Gigel Apăvăloaie came free, but Sorin Horațiu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sebastian Toacsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sorin Horațiu having to interfere.
