If Gigel Apăvăloaie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th minute, Sebastian Toacsen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sebastian Bărbulescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Flavius Ferenț made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Sebastian Bărbulescu took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Flavius Ferenț to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Toacsen in the 39th minute of play forced Olimpic Sibiu's goalkeeper Mihail Atanasiu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alex Cunea in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mihail Atanasiu prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

The wind increased when Alex Cunea made the kick off in the second half. Mihail Atanasiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Cunea in the 52nd minute of play. Mihail Atanasiu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex Cunea in the 54th minute of the match. Alex Cunea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gigel Apăvăloaie in the 63rd minute of play forced Olimpic Sibiu's goalkeeper Mihail Atanasiu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rasnita's Flavius Ferenț played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Bărbulescu in the 65th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Rasnita's Mihail Atanasiu threw himself towards the right post 67 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sebastian Toacsen, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Mait Mäidu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Flavius Ferenț tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 81 minutes in the game, Sebastian Toacsen fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Mihail Atanasiu having to interfere. Manole Bogza made in the 83rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Dinu Nișu immediately put the ball in play. Mihail Atanasiu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alex Cunea in the 85th minute. If Alex Cunea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
