After a rather tough play, Carpathian Wolves's Valentin Ciulei got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Yu Feng Xi had several of the Paris Saint-Germain's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 5 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Constantin Ciolacu as he didn't even see the shot coming. If Mihnea Ionițoiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Constantin Ciolacu managed to avoid a goal in the 10thth minute, when Carpathian Wolves's Mihnea Ionițoiu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Valeriu Enache kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the match, Paris Saint-Germain's goalkeeper Constantin Ciolacu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mihnea Ionițoiu. Olimpiu Hârlău showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valeriu Enache, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. If Timo Thorstein had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daddy Doro charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Daddy Doro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Yu Feng Xi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Olimpiu Hârlău stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zebastian Soned's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Constantin Ciolacu made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Yu Feng Xi sent off a good shot on target. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Yu Feng Xi made the kick off in the second half. Paris Saint-Germain's Constantin Ciolacu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timo Thorstein in the 57th minute of play. Constantin Ciolacu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yu Feng Xi, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. 72 minutes into the match, Paris Saint-Germain's goal looked a bit too open when Yu Feng Xi came free, but Constantin Ciolacu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olimpiu Hârlău made an important save on a dangerous shot by Valeriu Enache in the 74th minute. Mugur Timofte hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Constantin Ciolacu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romeo Ungheanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 81st minute of the match Carpathian Wolves got a corner. Paris Saint-Germain's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mugur Timofte ran over to the corner to take the kick. Timo Thorstein was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Viriato lacerda kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Yu Feng Xi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Constantin Ciolacu was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. Constantin Ciolacu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yu Feng Xi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Romeo Ungheanu struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Constantin Ciolacu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carpathian Wolves.
