The audience thought a goal was coming when Dumitru Hârțan got free with Aron Hârțan in the 2nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With his leg Aron Hârțan managed to avoid a goal in the 6thth minute, when YR☆Sporting Alexandria's Klement Golaszewski fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 7th match minute, YR☆Sporting Alexandria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fredrik Flink to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, YR☆Sporting Alexandria's Roberto-Jose Carlos got a free kick in the 10th minute. Krestoffer Grahavn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Korneliusz Kocieniewski in the 13th minute of play. YR☆Sporting Alexandria's Krestoffer Grahavn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Korneliusz Kocieniewski in the 17th minute of play. Krestoffer Grahavn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Darwin Núñez in the 19th minute of play. In the 21st minute of the match YR☆Sporting Alexandria got a corner. FC STEAUA BRAILA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Klement Golaszewski ran over to the corner to take the kick. Dumitru Hârțan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. YR☆Sporting Alexandria's Krestoffer Grahavn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Darwin Núñez in the 34th minute of play. Krestoffer Grahavn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maurício Corrêa's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Nicolae Buciu hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. With his leg Aron Hârțan managed to avoid a goal in the 42ndth minute, when YR☆Sporting Alexandria's Klement Golaszewski fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A collision led to YR☆Sporting Alexandria getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Daniel Arghiroiu hit a great ball. FC STEAUA BRAILA's Vali Buzescu got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Klement Golaszewski to make the kick off. FC STEAUA BRAILA's Aron Hârțan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Klement Golaszewski in the 58th minute of play. Korneliusz Kocieniewski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Krestoffer Grahavn having to interfere. 62 minutes into the match, FC STEAUA BRAILA's goal looked a bit too open when Klement Golaszewski came free, but Aron Hârțan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rd minute Dumitru Hârțan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aron Hârțan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aron Hârțan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Klement Golaszewski in the 65th minute of the match. In the 66th minute, Eduard Văleanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 74 minutes into the match, FC STEAUA BRAILA's goal looked a bit too open when Klement Golaszewski came free, but Aron Hârțan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The YR☆Sporting Alexandria fans' excitement grew in the 74th match minute when YR☆Sporting Alexandria's Klement Golaszewski looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Fredrik Flink fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored YR☆Sporting Alexandria's protests and gave Fredrik Flink a yellow card for diving instead. In the 83rd minute, Korneliusz Kocieniewski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 85 minutes FC STEAUA BRAILA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Klement Golaszewski who took care of the corner kick. If Dumitru Hârțan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the FC STEAUA BRAILA players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for YR☆Sporting Alexandria.
