In the 37th minute Boguslaw Furgat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but La Vela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rapid Bucharest's goalkeeper Beržas Lideika, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Eliodor Iosifian hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. The supporters of Rapid Bucharest booed when Ghostbusters CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lorenzo Garin didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Rapid Bucharest's Beržas Lideika played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radu Trică in the 95th minute of play. The Ghostbusters CF players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
