Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Herminio Vincente got the match started through his kick off. In the 5thth minute of the game Herminio Vincente who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but POLI TIMISOARA's Mihai Domuță was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ilie Oprea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mei Yi Xi, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Sergiu Panaitescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ilie Oprea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicu Nichitelea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 16 minutes into the game, Teodoro Gotzon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave POLI TIMISOARA the free kick. In the 16th minute, Teodoro Gotzon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mihai Domuță showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sergiu Panaitescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. After 22 minutes, Dumitru Perișoară mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the POLI TIMISOARA and the C Ａ R D I N Ａ L players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 22nd match minute, POLI TIMISOARA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dumitru Perișoară to maneuver through the defense. Cosmin Harbuz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Ilie Oprea made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herminio Vincente in the 31st minute of play forced POLI TIMISOARA's goalkeeper Mihai Domuță to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teodoro Gotzon got his second yellow card in the match during the 40th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of POLI TIMISOARA booed when C Ａ R D I N Ａ L was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teodoro Gotzon didn't get a good kick on the ball. C Ａ R D I N Ａ L made a substitution. Roland Smolarek replaced Sergiu Panaitescu. In the 42nd minute, Teodoro Gotzon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cezar Rizea hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mei Yi Xi to strike the kick off in the second half. 58 minutes into the match, C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's goal looked a bit too open when Cosmin Harbuz came free, but Ilie Oprea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 59 minutes into the match, POLI TIMISOARA's goalkeeper Mihai Domuță had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Herminio Vincente. Herminio Vincente in the 64thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Mihai Domuță, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cosmin Harbuz in the 72nd minute of play forced C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's goalkeeper Ilie Oprea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 74 minutes of play, POLI TIMISOARA's Mei Yi Xi made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ilie Oprea was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ilie Oprea didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jarbas Prestes went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. 81 minutes into the game, Panait Ponor was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave POLI TIMISOARA the free kick. 83 minutes into the match, Jarbas Prestes notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's Ilie Oprea. Ilie Oprea was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 89th minute, Jarbas Prestes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ilie Oprea was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Herminio Vincente's late challenge caught a POLI TIMISOARA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Herminio Vincente helped the player get up and apologised. Herminio Vincente kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. POLI TIMISOARA walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
