Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling George Buzoianu in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mihai Domuță prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When F.C. Baia Mare -MM-'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. 17 minutes into the match, F.C. Baia Mare -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Nicu Nichitelea came free, but Zsigmond Pál reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zsigmond Pál didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when POLI TIMISOARA's Mei Yi Xi shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-0 in the ordered_time% minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mei Yi Xi in the 19th minute of play forced F.C. Baia Mare -MM-'s goalkeeper Zsigmond Pál to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute Mei Yi Xi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zsigmond Pál saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and George Buzoianu made a kick off. With a little luck, POLI TIMISOARA's Mihai Domuță got control of the ball when George Buzoianu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zsigmond Pál showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mei Yi Xi in the 53rd minute of the match. Zsigmond Pál took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mei Yi Xi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 54th minute of the match POLI TIMISOARA got a corner. F.C. Baia Mare -MM-'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Filip Buculeasa ran over to the corner to take the kick. George Buzoianu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Mihai Domuță made a huge save. After a rather tough play, F.C. Baia Mare -MM-'s Manuel Tărbac got a free kick in the 59th minute. POLI TIMISOARA's Cosmin Harbuz got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. POLI TIMISOARA's Jarbas Prestes was substituted for Mei Yi Xi. If George Buzoianu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 64 minutes into the match, POLI TIMISOARA's goalkeeper Mihai Domuță had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by George Buzoianu. Zsigmond Pál made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrian Mihăescu in the 65th minute of play. Iosif Gurlui kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Zsigmond Pál made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jarbas Prestes in the 80th minute of play. Zsigmond Pál showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrian Mihăescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. 87 minutes into the match, George Buzoianu notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of POLI TIMISOARA's Mihai Domuță. Mihai Domuță was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 90 minutes into the match, F.C. Baia Mare -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Jarbas Prestes came free, but Zsigmond Pál reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jarbas Prestes in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zsigmond Pál saved F.C. Baia Mare -MM- from getting behind. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. POLI TIMISOARA fully deserved thier win.
