Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Robbe Stroobans started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Peretu City 09's Suleiman Süleyman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Melchazadec Terron narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 7 minutes into the match, FC Internazionale's goal looked a bit too open when Robbe Stroobans came free, but Melchazadec Terron reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Peretu City 09's Francesco Toldo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Peretu City 09 from getting a goal against them. Through an outstanding action, after 21 minutes, Francesco Toldo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Cornel Popovici hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Matei Călin struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Francesco Toldo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Internazionale. When FC Internazionale's Matei Călin in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The ball had pretty good speed, but Francesco Toldo firmly grabbed it by the left post. Cornel Popovici hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Melchazadec Terron made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Suleiman Süleyman in the 40th minute of play. Melchazadec Terron took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robbe Stroobans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Francesco Toldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florin Crăciunaș in the 44th minute of play. FC Internazionale's Melchazadec Terron played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Suleiman Süleyman in the 47th minute of play.

Francesco Toldo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 68th minute, Florin Crăciunaș made a precise shot to the right of Francesco Toldo. Peretu City 09's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Peretu City 09's Ramiro Paul was substituted for Suleiman Süleyman. After having played for 75 minutes, Cornel Popovici managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Internazionale's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cornel Popovici was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Peretu City 09's Ramiro Paul in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With a little luck, FC Internazionale's Melchazadec Terron got control of the ball when Robbe Stroobans tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 91 minutes FC Internazionale's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Marin Bosânceanu who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Peretu City 09's Florin Răducioiu to fire away a dangerous shot which Melchazadec Terron despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. If Robbe Stroobans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Francesco Toldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florin Crăciunaș, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FC Internazionale fans cheered their team off the field, for while Peretu City 09 had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
