After 9 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Cãrãhãsani FC! Iurie Cheptene had in the 11thth minute some difficulties stopping Florin Roman's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vitalie Perju got free with Remus Stroe in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Remus Stroe was out of position in the 19 minute of play, and Nicolae Toderascu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nicolae Toderascu really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Nicolae Toderascus short, quick shot in the 26thth minute got Remus Stroe to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After some careless play in the Cãrãhãsani FC defense, Toni Andone kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Iurie Cheptene. The Cãrãhãsani FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iurie Cheptene should have stopped the shot. Cãrãhãsani FC's Cãtãlin Cucu shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 34th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Remus Stroe but with some difficulty. Vitalie Perju's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 36thth minute, Remus Stroe skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A collision led to Cãrãhãsani FC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Vladimir Vulpe hit a great ball. Remus Stroe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vitalie Perju in the 41st minute. Cãrãhãsani FC's Iurie Cheptene played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Costin Opris in the 45th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Costin Opris to make the kick off. Toni Andone's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iurie Cheptene read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. A collision led to UFC Oboroceni getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Sabin Codreanu hit a great ball. UFC Oboroceni's Remus Stroe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolae Toderascu in the 62nd minute of play. Toni Andone fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iurie Cheptene having to interfere. Iurie Cheptene showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Costin Opris, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Vitalie Perju managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cãrãhãsani FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Vitalie Perju was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Remus Stroe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Costin Opris sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Costin Opris fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iurie Cheptene having to interfere. When Costin Opris fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored UFC Oboroceni's protests and gave Costin Opris a yellow card for diving instead. Costin Opris hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Nicolae Toderascu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Costin Opris fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iurie Cheptene having to interfere. Cãrãhãsani FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of UFC Oboroceni for a fine match.
