Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Marin Burduja kicked off to start the match. Iulian Mititel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marian Bold, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of FC Moldo-Team booed when Sîngerei was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Petru Cucu didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Virgiliu Stângã had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 12th minute Virgiliu Stângã shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Viorel Proca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marin Burduja received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Iulian Mititel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 22nd minute Valera Carp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iulian Mititel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Moldo-Team 's Iulian Mititel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marin Burduja in the 24th minute of play. In the 25th minute, Virgiliu Stângã reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Viorel Proca. The goal made the score 1-1. Marin Burduja took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Iulian Mititel. Iulian Mititel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Leonid Conac managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Moldo-Team 's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonid Conac was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Viorel Proca breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Moldo-Team 's Virgiliu Stângã slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Viorel Proca. That made the score 2-2 after 43 minutes of play. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Virgiliu Stângã was the one to do the kick off. Viorel Proca stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Virgiliu Stângã's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. In the 53rdth minute of the game Virgiliu Stângã who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sîngerei's Viorel Proca was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 56th minute, Marian Bold left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sîngerei fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. With a little luck, FC Moldo-Team 's Iulian Mititel got control of the ball when Marian Bold tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 72nd minute, when Sîngerei's Dan Pesmet after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Iulian Mititel in FC Moldo-Team 's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. The supporters of Sîngerei booed when FC Moldo-Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dumitru Cãpraru didn't get a good kick on the ball. 74 minutes into the game, Marian Bold was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sîngerei's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Moldo-Team the free kick. Marin Burduja scored 2-4 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Iulian Mititel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Leonid Conac fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viorel Proca having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Virgiliu Stângã in the 87th minute of play forced Sîngerei's goalkeeper Viorel Proca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Virgiliu Stângã had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Sîngerei supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Sîngerei would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
