Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Alunis's Vlad Vârtosu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rdth minute of the game Gicu Cernei who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alunis's Vladimir Burduja was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vladimir Burduja stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gicu Cernei's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. 9 minutes into the match, Gicu Cernei had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vladimir Burduja. Alunis's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gicu Cernei was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 25th minute Gicu Cernei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimir Burduja saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gicu Cernei might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vladimir Burduja. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gicu Cernei ran back to his position shaking his head. Ghitã Secrieru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Vladimir Burduja tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Vladimir Gonta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vladimir Burduja made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ghitã Secrieru in the 41st minute of play. After having played for 42 minutes, Gicu Cernei managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paris Saint Germain's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gicu Cernei was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 47th minute, when Alunis's Liviu Blajin after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Vlad Vacarciuc in Paris Saint Germain's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. The Alunis players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Paris Saint Germain were winning 0-2.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gicu Cernei to make the kick off. Virgiliu Cerbu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 54th minute, Paris Saint Germain's Igor Cepraga ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Vladimir Burduja. Vladimir Burduja yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. Vlad Vacarciuc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Liviu Blajin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Ghitã Secrieru managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paris Saint Germain's supporters rose to their feet, but Ghitã Secrieru was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vladimir Burduja breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 69 played minutes Alunis got a freekick which was hit by Virgiliu Cerbu. Gicu Cerneis short, quick shot in the 70thth minute got Vladimir Burduja to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Gicu Cernei might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vladimir Burduja. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gicu Cernei ran back to his position shaking his head. After 78 played minutes Alunis got a freekick which was hit by Vladimir Cornea. With his leg Vladimir Burduja managed to avoid a goal in the 80thth minute, when Paris Saint Germain's Gicu Cernei fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 82 played minutes Alunis got a freekick which was hit by Marian Bâtcã. Vladimir Burduja made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ghitã Secrieru in the 84th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Gicu Cernei managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paris Saint Germain's supporters rose to their feet, but Gicu Cernei was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vladimir Burduja breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ghitã Secrieru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Alunis's zone, Igor Cepraga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vladimir Burduja came out of the goal and Igor Cepraga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gicu Cernei had several of the Alunis's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 96 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-4 score and a disappointed Vladimir Burduja as he didn't even see the shot coming. When the final whistle sounded Paris Saint Germain left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Alunis.
