The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Vasile Calistru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Gordinesti getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Nichifor Enicov hit a great ball. 8 minutes into the match, Ilie Buruianã had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dan Dudãu. Gordinesti's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ilie Buruianã was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Ruslan Chicu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dan Dudãu having to interfere. Aurel Iordan's late challenge caught a Cismea CSF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aurel Iordan helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Gordinesti's Aurel Iordan got a free kick in the 13th minute. Victor Ciocan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruslan Arnãut in the 18th minute of the match. If Ruslan Chicu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ruslan Chicu's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Dan Dudãu firmly grabbed it by the left post. Ilie Buruianã received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Dan Dudãu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vasile Calistru's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Victor Ciocan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Dumitru Burlea hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Grigore Iordache during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 35 played minutes Cismea CSF got a freekick which was hit by Grigore Iordache. Vasile Calistru recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vasile Calistru scored 1-1 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Victor Ciocan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Vasile Calistru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 44th minute, Ruslan Arnãut got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The wind increased when Vasile Calistru made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Gordinesti getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Alexandru Griceanu hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Ilie Buruianã's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dan Dudãu was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. Cismea CSF's Dumitru Burlea pulled a muscle in his back after 61 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The supporters of Cismea CSF booed when Gordinesti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nichifor Enicov didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 65th minute, Ilie Bumbac got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ruslan Chicu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 72nd minute, Ruslan Chicu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Ruslan Chicu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cismea CSF's supporters rose to their feet, but Ruslan Chicu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dan Dudãu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Vasile Calistru came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Gordinesti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vasile Calistru couldn't finish the play. Cismea CSF's Victor Ciocan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Cismea CSF from getting a goal against them. 84 minutes into the match, Gordinesti's Ghenadie Ciocan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Victor Ciocan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Vasile Calistrus short, quick shot in the 85thth minute got Victor Ciocan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Nichifor Enicov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
